Home in NH for a week

Brian drove me home to visit friends and family for a week.  He's been in Rockland with the boat.  Headed back tomorrow with a friend, should be fun Linda will be on the boat for four days.

Back to Southwest Harbor

July 16th - 20th  Stops in Pulpit Harbor, North Haven -> Seal Bay, Islesboro -> JO Brown's, North Haven and up to Southwest Harbor.
Stopped a lobster boat to buy some lobster, 5 lobsters for $20.00 yum.  Still having great weather and great sailing.  Caught up with Don and Pat on Libby for a few minutes in North Haven. Yesterday afternoon spent with Ernie and Andrea, old friends from Fay's Boat Yard, what a great time catching up. Will post pictures when I can, uploading pictures has been a challenge this far East in Maine.

Castine->Eggemoggin Reach

July 13th & 14th Wild sail to Castine winds forcasted to be 5-10 and they were 15-20 with higher gusts. Spent 2 relaxing days, Smith Cove and Holbrook. Walked around Holbrook and Castine, beautiful sunny days. Headed up Eggemoggin Reach today not sure exactly where we'll stop. Enjoying a cup of coffee on the bow right now.

Castine July 12th

Now that we are restocked, groceries, fuel and water we're off to Castine for a few days then hopefully trying to head east again.  Spent last night in Pulpit Harbor with 2 schooners and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

July 10th

We went back to Southwest Harbor, looking for a place to get the outboard repaired.  No luck here, headed back towards Rockland in hopes of repairs there.  Would have hald to wait a week, made a new plan.  Headed to Dark Harbor Boat Yard near Isleboro and it was fixed in an hour.  We've now got a rebuilt carborator and off to Rockland to reprovision.

It's July and we're in Southwest Harbor, MDI

We spent a couple more days in Seal Bay on Vinalhaven, love this harbor.   Then a couple days at Buckle Island, another one of our favorites.  Then today over to Southwest Harbor on Mt Dessert Island.  Still having some issues with the outboard, it seems to run when it wants to.  Hope to get it looked at the end of this week.  Headed up to Somes Sound tomorrow for a few days.
