Nov. 11th Headed across the river by all the Navy ships down through Norfolk.  We were both amazed, had no idea Norfolk is such a big port.

3 Aircraft Carriers lined up stearn to at the dock.

Whole line of destroyers.

Mile Marker zero on the ICW. Hospital Point
Ship in dry dock.
Boats ahead of us waiting for the 1st bridge.
 1st bridge opening.
Great Bridge Lock, our first Lock transit. It was a good one, very uneventful.
Spent the night at the free dock between the Great Bridge Lock and Great Bridge.
Nov. 12th-13th
Spent 2 nights at Atlantic Yacht Basin $1.00 per foot, even Brian couldn't resist. Day one bottom cleaned. Day two mechanic arrived a little after 8:00am to check out the tack and some other minor maintence. All came through with flying colors.
What a great crew, we asked to have the bottom cleaned and an hour later the crew arrived at the boat to bring her over to the lift.
Nov. 14th
We'll be headed back to the free dock to backtrack a little and head down through the Dismal Swamp.
